Sustainable Production and Marketing of Indigenous Chicken for DRYDEV Project Implemented by SNV Netherlands:

Thirty three (33) farmers and five (5) sectorial players were trained on sustainable production and marketing of indigenous chicken.

The aim of the training was to equip farmers with skills and knowledge on sustainable market-production practices.

Participants were exposed to feeding and feed formulation, breeding, disease management, housing, handling and safe transportation of indigenous chicken.

The farmers were trained by the proprietor of Homerange Poultry Kenya, Mr.Ian Mutwiri at his Ruaka farm on 28th August 2017.
