We provide expert training to
beginner poultry farmers, individual member of the public, Governmental
and Non- Governmental Organisations (NGOs), self-help groups,
CHAMAS, saccos and other institutional parties on various best
practices that need to be applied in any poultry farming project
inorder to achieve success and profitability through optimization
of poultry flock producton, minimisation of production costs
and maximisation of return-on-investment.
In light of global
warming and the impact of climate change in poultry production,
our training focusses on eco-efficient
technologies and methodologies applicable in chicken
farming inorder to ensure its conducted in a sustainable
and environmental friendly way. These production
technologies include the use of drough-resistant crops
as substitute to some of the feedstuff used in chicken feed production.
In the past eleven
(11) years, our training has directly benefited
over 50,000 individuals who were either
previously engaged in or started their poultry farming projects
after attending our training. In so doing, we have made a direct
contribution towards job creation for youth, women
and other vulnerable groups and contributed directly
towards growth of the Kenyan livestock production sector.
Our training covers both an
in-depth theory and a practical-approach
where participants of the training get a chance to visit our
poultry farm for purposes of conceptualising and learning
practically how all the best practices in poultry
production that they learnt during the theory part is actually
applied at the poultry farm.
We offer different types of
training programs to suit the diverse needs of people interested
in venturing into chicken farming and generally poultry production.
Further, our trainining is comprehensive
and focusses on the entire poultry value chain from its production,
processing and consumption (marketing). This approach ensures
the individual is equiped with know-how on how to manage their
poultry venture end-to-end in an efficient manner.
